Dear Ms. Janaki Sooriyarachchi, 

I am a mother of one of your little fans. As a mother I really appreciate the service you are doing to the children of our country. Your books are very interesting and not only my daughter but also my husband and I read them. (Any way we read all of them before telling the story to our child. Some times each book two or three times a day.) My husband says some of the charactors are very interesting, such as “Polkichchi” in one of your books named “Ravatichchee Polkichchee”. He says some times I'm also like that. When ever we have to go for a function I make a fuss over not having a new dress. 

 I recently read a news paper article and got to know about your back ground, how it helped you to become a nice and sensitive person like this. You are as beautiful as the stories you write. And I am proud to hear that you are a Visakhian just like me.
