Dear Ms. Janaki Suriyaarachchi, I'm a father of 2 kids. A doctor by profession. I read lots of literary books and my little ones also love to read. I buy lots of you books when I visit Sri Lanka. I would like to say that I'm very proud of you. I think you belong to the third generation of Children's Literature in Sri Lanka. 1st- Kumarathunga Munidasa, 2nd- Sybil Wettesinghe, and 3rd- Janaki Sooriyarachchi. I think your debut revitalized the field of children's Literature in Sri Lanka.
Writing a
children's story may be very easy, but writing a successful
one, is very very difficult. But you seem to have maintained
that success in all your books, both in quality and quantity.
I think you have an amazing talent and an insight. You have a
great future ahead, and im sure you would bring fame to mother
Sri Lanka, some day in the future. Dinesh Perera (A father)- California. 02.10.2007

I would like to call these stories, "innocent literature". These stories and illustrations look really very innocent. Keep up the good work.
